Original Lt-1 Heads
Can original LT-1 heads that were used on 71 Camaros, with the 370HP 350 for example, be used on a TPI setup? I have found a set that are fully race ported and polished with double valve springs and erson roller rockers for about 400 bucks. And I'm pretty sure theyd be able to make some good power. Moreso, would these be compatible with a Stealthram Intake? If so, I could be lookin at gettin' one helluva good setup here.
Thanks for the help.

I'm running 60s 327 Fuelie vette heads with 2.02 intake, 1.7 exhaust valves on a newly-converted 1969 327 TPI. Any of the aftermarket TPI intakes, like the stealthram, will have dual pattern center bolt holes that fit either pre 86 or post 86 heads, so yes, it will bolt right up to your heads. Like in my case, your heads will be overkill for a stock TPI intake due to the fact that the heads keep flowing out to 6500-7000 rpms, and the intake quits at 5000. I did extensive porting and siamesed the stock TPI manifold base, and then ported the plenum, so I should be good to the 5500 range. My hydraulic cam peaks around 5500-6000, so I'm hoping the low end torque I'm gaining from the TPI will offset the small loss of top end I'll see. A stealth ram would be a good choice for you.
