EGR on HSR? just for looks
I may be in the market for a new intake set up and I really have done alot of research and the HSR seems to be my best bet as far as performance goes but I have a problem. My state now has a visual inspection this means the EGR valve has to be bolted onto the intake and hooked up to the point that it appears to be functioning. I was thinking of mounting one under the plenum between the two main inlets where it says holley on the base. I was going to machine it down flat drill and tap two holes in it and mount a valve there just to it looks like it can posably work. I was wondering if anyone thought of this and or has done it before or if its even possable due to the clearence under the upper plenum. I could also get a smaller egr valve off something else and make it work as well but I want to know if anyone has done anything like this so Im not buying a manifold set up I wont be able to even use.

I was thinking of doing the same thing. I just moved to MD and will have to get an emissions test eventually. I do not know if they have a visual, but I was gonna mount a dummy egr valve. I think it will work. I was even gonna run some fake vacum lines to it.
