help - Fuel Filter O-rings

What size o-rings do I need for the fuel filter? Will the o-rings used on injectors work for the fuel filter?

No the injector o-rings will not work, you can get the correct 0-rings from the dealership for about fifty cents each.

Hi, I know this is a 2 year old thread that I'm digging up, but I have a quick question, as I am in the same predicament as mike was regarding fuel filter O-rings.

Is there a part number related to this Item that someone might know or be able to locate offhand? Or maybe a dealership parts directory that might have the #?

Or would someone happen to know the dimensions of the O-ring in the possibility that napa, autozone, ect might carry such a part?

I don't have a dealership w/ a parts department nearby, and refuse to drink gasoline without doing the job properly.

Thanks.

Hey purg3d, if I remember correctly I got the o-rings by buying an assortment pack of o-rings by a company called HELP lol. You can usually find them at most auto part stores. I compared the old fuel filter o-rings to new ones until I got a match. Im not sure if you have an old one to go by though. I dont know of any part #'s. Hopefully someone can help you out with that.

haha great, i hoped "help" would help me out, but wasnt too sure. thanks for clarifying.

I'll stop by there and get a pack. Thanks a lot.

If anyone's been reading my posts in general/exhaust... note that i am simply trying to do this job once and be done with it... swallowing gas once is better than twice
