Small Block 454 Dyno Pull Videos!
I finally got my camera home and made a few pulls..
This is a full pull, made 508hp @5500 and 557 ft lbs @ 4400, ran out of fuel at 5700 you can hear the little miss.

Second Video is some low speed torque pulls, top readout is RPM and bottom is uncorrected torque, the numbers you see there are 5-6% low when you add the weather correction in.

Thanks for taking the time to post them TPIJeep! Much appreciated. The problem is it makes me want a similar set-up for myself!!!
Very impressive!
Will you get some videos once the engine is in the jeep? Perhaps of you scaring the locals at the traffic lights?

What cam /heads/intake do you have on that 454? It looks and sounds pretty mean in the videos.

What made you decide to go all the way to 454ci? That is the max bore for the block right?
Did you ever think of going with a slightly smaller bore so you could rebuild a few times? Or are you planning on sleeving it when its time for a rebuild?
Its awesome, but those were my first thoughts...
Edit: What are the specs on your camshaft?? I didnt see it in the other thread

If I would have known they had a 4.25 crank out I would have gone that route and kept the bore at 4.25 but it took so long to get the crank I didn't want to wait any longer.
The cam is a 280ish duration and 630 lift.
