im looking to buy a serptine belt setup for my 87 iroc with the 350 tpi and i was wondering, i can get a setup from this person who is parting with a 305 tpi, will these brackets swap over, or do i need the serptine belt brackets specific to the 350?

It'll work.
Better check this link out: http://sethirdgen.org/serpentine.htm Also if you're gonna keep your AIR (smog pump) system operational, you'll have to get all that stuff off the donor car too because its different. I just did the swap myself and I highly recommend it.

Get the alternator, PS pump, PS pressure hose, and AC compressor too, because they are all specific to the serp setup. Get all the pulleys and brackets, and as much factory hardware as possible. Getting it all from one car will make life a lot easier. It's a lot more involved than I first thought, but it is well worth it.

I just moved everythin on my 305 over to my 383 (350 block) when I did the swap back in June with no problems what so ever.
