Vortecs and a StealthRam.....a few ?'s

I just picked up a 91'Z with a rebuilt 355. Nothing fancy at all, just a stock rebuild using ALL stock TPI intake parts, cleaned up L98 heads, hotcam kit, SLP headers and ORY, Mufflex 3-1/2" exh., built 700-R4 w/Yank 2800, and rebuilt rear w/3.73's. The car is fun to drive, and me and a buddy are still in the middle of tuning it. What I was wondering was, what kind pf power increases would I see by swapping on a set of Vortecs, a StealthRam, and a slightly bigger cam, something better matched for the Vortecs, which will be mildly ported by the way.

The car as it sits will more than likely squeak out a high 12, as before the rebuild, with nothing more than the headers, gears, and converter, it was running 8.40's in the 1/8, and that was on a stock chip.

I'm just looking for some cheap power, and the StealthRam and Vortecs seem the way to get it.

Is the Vortec HSR availible yet? The HSR will match well with the hot cam and 3:73's.

By the way im with West Tennessee F-body Association . When you get rid of the intake are you going to sell it? If so im interested.

Yeah, I believe it's already available, if not, real soon. I'd rather not keep the Hotcam, as it's designed on some really lazy lobes, and there's more power to be made with a custom ground cam matched to the heads I get. I'll definitely be going bigger, and something w/110-111 LSA, and probably on a 108 ICL.

The TPI stuff will definitely be for sale, as will the hotcam and springs, as I'll have no use for them.

I defianetly am wanting a hotcam. Im in the process of getting a 350 or 355 in my lb9 GTA right now. My choice for cam was either the lt4 or and extreme 256. Im willing to pick-up. I make frequent trips to nashville with a group called NAMI.
