Re-Routed Fuel Lines

Can any one send me, or post pics of how they re-routed their fuel lines from their stock location?

I am planning on doing this this spring and am looking for any and all advice.....and yes I DO have to move them.

Which lines? Frame or intake?

PS3.jpg

Thats where my intake lines are...slightly different than stock I guess. Obvious professional hand bends.

And no, all the zipties on page two are not in use, that was for mockup of the frame lines. I have a feeling I've got a bunch more area to work with on my truck than you do, but I spent a fair amount of time making sure they were near no ignition sources (as far as possible anyways) and weren't going to be abraded.

I am looking for the frame lines.....From the tank forward.

How far forward did you go with the steel lines before going to the braided stuff? What did you do for a fuel filter?

Thanks for the pics!

I hand bent everything, using the stock lines. The lines originally ran on the other side of the frame. It was interesting, and not pretty, but I don't look at it, and it's not going to leak.

I used the stock Camaro filter where the lines broke for it, (TBI truck stuff used a filter much further forward) and then went to braided lines where I had to get around the motor mounts and at the sending unit. I still don't have a holder for the fuel filter, but I've got the lines clamped just before and after the filter at this point. Pretty much stock "install" if you look at the parts used alone.

I searched and searched the wrecking yards for stock braided stuff that was longer, but I couldn't find any. That would have made it a bit cleaner, but it seems GM used about the same length braided stuff across the board.
