fuel pump continues to run

fuel pump continues to run
After I turn off the motor the fuel pump keeps running for another 15 to 20 seconds. Any idea why? Thanks in advance!

whats your oil pressure at when you shut it off? theres a oil pressure switch that keeps the pump on when the engine is on (making oil pressure)
