supercharger question

can u put a supercharger on a stock l98 and will it run fine or will the motor blow

The supercharger will run fine as long as you don't change the psi on the system. A custom chip is needed to get all of the power out of the engine. However, if your engine has 100k miles on the engine, then you might need to rebuild it before you put the charger on it to maximize your power potential.

I had the Vortech s/c on my 305. run it without any problems.
The noise of the s/c was too loud for me, thats why i'm gonna sell it and look into doing some other upgrades...
