On the slicks...
60' 1.900
1/8th 9.002 @75.x
1/4 14.29 @92.7
I was pretty impressed. It is still shifting out of 1st and 4300-4500 (computer does it no matter what) so it has a little more in it, and I cant tell where I'm shifting out of 2nd at (5000 rpm tach). Also the track wasn't in the best condition, so I might see some 13's on this setup with a little better 60' and shifting out of 1st a little higher. Not bad for a 4200 lb truck that was excited about a 15.9 just a couple months ago!
Its a completely stock ZZ4 (asside from the Holley Stealthram) with the stock TPI throttle body, run on a '7730 with a PCM4Less tune. Hooker supercomp headers with true dual 2 1/2" exhaust with flowmasters, and an eaton posi with 3.73's. My nitrous is on the way, and I might even get 12's with slightly better conditions and a 100 shot!!
This was my first trip down the 1320 with the new motor, trans slicks etc. It was a BLAST!! I have a '95 Cevy 1500, reg cab, 2wd, 4200 lbs with me in it and a full tank of gas.

Nice times.....shifting it probably around the 5k to 5500 marker will produce better times with that intake system....nice times in a truck. What size slicks are you running?

they are 28x9 MT ET Drags. I would have gone with smaller, but I bought them from a friend that mounted them but never ran 'em. So I got brand new slicks for $275. I still had the heavy Boyd 18s on the front too. I am wanting to get some like 15x6 draglites (if they even make them for my bolt pattern) and maybe i can pick up a little speed.

Thanks....I was curious to see...I have 18x8 Boyd's on my truck right now running a P285/50R18 which is a 29" tire. I was going to try and run a 10.5 or wider slick on the rear in a 29" diameter. How do you like your supercomps...I was thinking about trading in my edelbrock shorties for some long tubes?
