LT1 Block Only Question

Hey guys i have a question, their is a guy selling a 96 Z-28 LT1 Motor with 78K for 500 bucks. The only thing is that the Intake is not their. SO i was wondering what would be the result if i put my TPI injection on top of the lt1 block. Would it be a good idea to get better TPI heads. Any thoughts? thanks

1. You would have leaks;

2. No such thing as "TPI heads" that are "better" than LT1 heads;

3. Thoughts? Oh, yeah. Get the engine, PCM, and wiring harness if you can. Port up the LT1 heads, then get a used LT1 intake (under $200). You can use the L99 intake as well, which is what makes them so cheap. Adapt away, and you'll have something.
