Right now I'm running NGK TR-55's, that I installed after the mild rebuild. The car is nothing special, just a .030 over L98 with cleaned up heads, and the hotcam kit, along with SLP headers, ORY, and Mufflex 3-1/2" exh.. It's still got the full, stock TPI intake, but I also have a +few+ o+ther bolt-ons.

Should I stick with the TR-55's, or do you guys like a different plug in these motors? Oh yeah, it's a 91' Z.

I've been running the same Bosch Platinum +4's since 2000 and haven't had a miss yet.

Me too, no problems.

I've heard countless problems with AC rapidfires and the +4's. That's not to say some of you aren't using them successfully, but too many have had problems for me to even try.

Accel shorty header plugs. They do wear out a little faster, but they are really easy to change since they are shorter.

I too am using the AC delco Rapid-fires. I've heard those that had problems with them were using MSD boxes.

Cool - Maybe I'll see you at some Cruise nights over the summer. I always try to hit the big one in Lockport on Tuesday nights. I'ts a little bit of a haul but they have the most cars I've seen at a cruise night around here.

i use autolite double platinums. they seems to work very well. i don't have to change them out as often as the delco r44ts copper plug .

Delco R43TS... and yes, because of nitrous. I ran some brand of platinums once a long time ago (before the nitrous), they totally screwed up the idle and the car ran like crap.

Same brand NOT the same plug!
Look at www.acdelco.com and go to ignition, sparkplugs.
