Question about EGR wire

Hey all; I was removing my EGR valve from my intake and I noticed this wire that goes into it. It screws into a port on the EGR valve, and the other end plugs into the engine wiring harness. Anyway, the screw end on that wire broke, and I can't find one anywhere. Anyone have any advice on how I could fix it or where I could get a new one? Thanks

Kevin

That is the EGR Temp sensor. If you still have the sensor (screw), you can solider the wire back on. I broke mine, and re-solidered it no problems.

No, I lost the screw. I have no idea where it went. Any other ideas?

You can get another one, I did but I had to spend a little while at the GM parts counter going through the engine part diagrams.

Someone here should have a picture of it and a part number on the F-Body CD. Then you can just get it from gmpartsdirect or something.

Been trouble shooting my EGR set up just today. Noticed the temp sensor on mine is a deal short. Been looking around and don't see anyone listing these either. Not good. What did you find out with yours?

Great news! Everywhere I looked did not have the part. If you have an O'Reilly Auto Parts near you, they should be able to get one. I got a Borg Warner one there for $11 not too bad a price at all. If you need more help/info let me know
