Just installed BBK! But throttle dosent Hookup

Installed 58mm BBK and the throttle does not hook up like the stock one does. Just wondering if this is a common problem and is there a adapter?

There are 2 styles, 85-88 and 89-92. I bet you have the wrong one.

You most likely have the one for the 85-88 style throttle body. You will have to exchange it. Allen

BBK 58mm

The same thing happened to me but I had purchased a custom throttle linkage kit as I was doing an engine swap.
I wound-up getting the shift cable and throttle cable kits from
that famous company that starts with an L- Lock something (sorry I can't find the name!)
Other than the kits looked really sharp and I did get the optional billet cable holder to bolt onto the TPI manifold, the throttle kit had both new and old style connectors for my BBK 58mm. As my throttlebody came with part of the engine swap package (used) I could not exchange it, the kit "saved the bacon".
Good luck!

Is there any other differences, because i was just going to install a older throttle cable with the different connector. Will this work or am i just pissing in the wind?

The company the one guy was trying to think of is called Lokar. They cater mainly to street rod type parts. If you want to go to the different style stock throttle cable, there's a guy on ebay who sells both styles brand new for about $23.00. He's also a member on this site. I think his user name here is 92blue. I know his name on ebay is tpi parts.
