Need some help!!!!!!

Okay heres the thing, i was driving home from work today and half way home my car started to do something funny. As i stopped at a light and let off the gas the rpms dropped dramatically and the car almost died. So i keep goin and at the next light the same thing. Everytime i let off the gas the rpms drop just about to zero and the car wants to die. What the hell could be causing this. Service Engine Light is on and i tried to get the codes but i cant get crap the damn light blinks freakin quick and its weird. Anyone out there know what to do???

Be certain that you are grounding the correct ALDL pin to retrieve the codes. Of course, the engine needs to be OFF with the ignition ON.

or an IAC, TPS, O2, or EGR that has gone out.... but pull the codes first!

turns out that the injectors were very clogged and needed cleaning. got them cleaned and stopped doing it. next problem is that now its idling extremely at about 15 rpms. gonna check the tps and check the voltage on it but dont knw what else it could be.

By 15rpms, do you mean erract at 1500?

I know you said you had the injectors cleaned, but from what you first posted on your problems sure sounded like a low battery and the car running of the alternator instead of 12v, I dunno, worth a check.

Thought it was some type of fuel problem..
Unhook the battery and allow the computer to clear any bad codes it may have recieved during your ordeal.

Sounds like a vacuum leak, probably at the runner gaskets where they meet the upper plenum.

Usual procedure to diagnose is to spray carb cleaner at the junctions and see if the idle RPM increases temporarily.

Well if you previously adjusted your idle in an attempt to get your ride to run better with out a scan tool then your IAC is probably out of tune.
