I've ran searches on this but I dont get any error codes I ran the diagnostic on the car and all I got was code 12 which was the diagnostic code. It happened yesterday the car was running great I drove home then when I got in to leave about 3 hours later the car wouldnt start unless I put my to the floor and hold it till it started running. Then when it started running I had to rev it above 1500 rpm for about a minute or 2 and then it would idle around 500 rpm if I didnt rev it it would die as soon as I let off of the gas. It does this during hot starts and cold starts it seems to be worse during cold starts. Any Ideas? I am thinking it is the CTS but i'm not sure. The car runs normal after driving it about 5 minutes except sometimes I notice it having a really low idle here and there. I will check out the IAC to but it looks clean and it seems to be working ok so I dont think its the problem. The car is an 87 ta with 305 tpi. The guy that had the car before me said that the o2 has been changed about 6k ago I dont think that would be the problem anyways because its not throwing any codes. Can you smell a lot of raw fuel after cranking? And smoke on startup? I'm thinking of flooding.
