Hats Off To The Moderator!!!!

Thank you for the opportunity to talk about my little project car that is on the road after 2 years of hard work isolating buildout we did.......the car is running great!!!!!

I am trying to tune my TPI for Low End Torque but I do drive on Freeway....so how do I tune my TPI for street driving showoff..................

This is a mild cam upgrade (going for snappy undersize approach, cam spec....duration @.050 intake 204, 214 Exhaust, hydraulic Elgin cam, model RV Cam(Recreational Vehiclec Cam..RV....) E923P...

MAJOR- kept 305 heads for racecar setup...totally reconditioned stock....
bottom block - 350 bored .030 flat top pistons four valve relief...

52mm thottle body...air foil.....aftermarket MAF with screens

twenty four lb/hr injectors.....FASTCHIP.com chip to spec....SLP 1 5/8 headers....3" exhaust....FRAME ALL WELDED upper strut, steering box, front to back siderails, aluminum drive shaft, stock rearend, LCA's, Panhard

timing 7 degrees
fuel pressure forty seven PSI
3 wire O2 ------ Air/Fuel meter pretty much yellow middle road not rich not lean but i do get red alot... "lean" when the let off WOT

so thats the car.........she goes but not a rocket but fast

how do i get more

new heads for motor

more fuel pressure for TPI?

so how do i get TPI better with the car?

I am sorry if i am asking the question in the wrong forum...but I would like the MODERATORS opinion on what I can do now with this TPI (my reason for rebuilding this 85 torque/power car)

i love the 85 iroc I am rebuilding and I learn tons on this web site....my hats is off to the moderator........keepe GREAT WORK!

Heads is where the power is at. You did not mention your exhaust system but that should be upgraded from new headers to the tail pipe.

..lol

350hp huh ..

you got any papers? cause from what I hear 350hp is not that easy of a task on a TPI motor. Tho, you mods could back that up .. i dunno.

as far as I know Ive seen 10sec Camaros use 700r4s in thier cars. I think its safe to say your in good shape

Heads? Depends on how deep your wallet is. Lots of good heads in the $1000-1200 range. AFR's are a little more pricey. Allen

How many miles are on the transmission?

if its fairly young. Id just drain all the ATF out of it. Replace front pump seal and rear .. replace tranny filter (inside tranny pan) and
fill her up with some nice Kendall ATF or something.

I did that to mine just before we dropped the block in
I havent had any trouble since.

as for heads.. you cant be too hasty
you might wanna wait for an advanced F-body guy, because that question is a tad outta my league.

BTW, I just finished my build very similar to yours.
But I went with a diffrent cam and did headwork.

I should have papers for mine tho

Heads are a huge part of the equation, and I think AFRs should be your choice...
In fact, I know a guy who did 12.3x with a real mild cam (LPE 219) a super ram, and untouched AFR heads. It idled smooth and even passed strict cali's strict smog test.
