Buying a new Harness

I am about to buy a new wiring harness for my Roc. Well I was about do the buy when I saw that Painless has them only for 86-89 and so on. Not the 85 model. Ok...? Well the 85 is different right? So where do I buy the proper harness? Thanks in advance.

I'm looking at their online catalog and it says '85-89.

85 TPI.........

I used the Painless harness in my /87. No problems, the technical support was good although the guy was a bit of a smart a**.
The harness was a bit of a rip-off too, but it really makes things a lot more simple.

The 85 TPI systems had some problems. They were some what corrected in 86. I believe that Painless does not sell the /85 harness because most people would not use this in a modification or transplant.

I think you would be better off to track down all the nessasary parts to convert you /85 TPI to an /86 or up type system or go to an aftermarket system.

I bought my harness last fall, and my Catalogue also says they (Painless) don’t make a harness for the /85.
