aftermarket oil cooler

i want to add an oil cooler...i dont have a factory oil cooler.. and i think the factory oil cooler is a joke.. i want my oil cooler to actually flow OIL not COOLANT.. im using this for the transfer of heat.. but what sandwich adapter do i need to use? also will my oil pump be enough to pump oil from the filter adapter to the exchanger and back? anyone else do this?

ok some one knows something.. search button isnt really helping me much

Car: 1989 IROC--1989 T/A
Engine: 5.7 TPI in both
Transmission: W/C T-5 in both
Axle/Gears: B/W 3.27 in both
I know i got my sandwich piece from a 1986 VETTE L98. It flows oil out to 12x12" cooler witha 10" fan. Now to find the room in the nose of my bird, and I will make use of my good find. GOOD luck

I got a Derail set up from PAW , it even still uses PH30 filters on it's mount.

I never even thought about the oil pump being an issue with and external oil cooler.

I've been wanting to do that with a tranny cooler and an oil cooler to so im kinda looking for an answer on the oil pump.
