Injector size ?

I have a 305 with a mild cam and a edelbrock pro flo system with a ported plenum, performance chip, and any other bolt on performance parts you can think of.
I know factory a 305 came with 19lb injectors are these good for my setup or should I go bigger?

My recommendation to you is: Buy a good fuel pressure gauge and an AFPR. Before you install the AFPR, check the stock fuel pressure. Then install the AFPR. Your 19s can flow nearly 22# if you turn the fuel pressure up to 56psi (stock is 43psi).

With your mild mods, your 19s a plenty good and will keep things friendly with your computer.

If you got the money, get a good scanner too. Its a great tool to tune your car and it never goes out-of-date. I'm still using my AutoXray which is about 8 years old.

I agree with doc, keep the 19# injectors. They are good for about 320 HP with 50psi. The added pressure on the smaller injector helps attomize the fuel better for a more complete combustion.

I do have a AFPR and it is set at 50 psi.
