Cleaning Fuel Injectors

Has anyone cleaned a set of fuel injectors by soaking the tips in a jar of BG(yellow cantener $20 stuff cleans injectors when you put it in a tank of gas) if any one has done this how long should i soak them 24 hours? I don't think it will harm anything, maybe not even help if anything. I Plain on running this stuff throw the gas tank too afterwards. Since i'm doing a intake job i was going to soak the injectors, I never really had a problem with them, if i had the extra cash i'd get them flow balanced and stuff.

I was thinking too about running 12 volts to them for like 2 seconds at a time with some sort of cleaner pumping cleaner in them. but i rather not burn them up or use the wrong cleaner and destory the inside of them.

If you had no problems, then why bother? Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but would hitting them with 12 volts ruin them?

just do it right by sending them to Rich @ Cruizin Performance.Have him flo-match them while your at it.I've had him do 2 sets of 19# injectors plus the 22# one's that I'm running now.

I just did my cleaning yesterday. It went very well. i injected 3oz of cleaner in first. then about 10oz of rubbing Alchol to all 8 injectors. They all where clean not any sign of diryness in them. I think they are pretty new or Shell 93 really works as good as they say it does.

I freekin lost my fuel pressure gauge, so i need to buy one today. i slapped a fuel pressure regulator. I need to be able to start the car if i screw down the screaw will that give me higher or lower pressure? I think higher as it tightens?
