TBI to TPI conversion..cam question
About ready to convert the 'wifes 91 5.0 tbi to tune port. I'm wondering if the stock tbi cam will run with stock tpi prom AXXB
Not yet experienced in chip tuning and don't think the wife will be patient enough for her car down while I learn.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

okay I'm talking to myself
Surely someone had done this swap. The AXXB prom is stock calibration for 91 TPI 305. Is this going to be a problem with the TBI cam. I don't really want to pull the camshaft...

The car should run fine. Although the cam and heads are different, its not going to be off so bad that it will lose driveability. It should still run very well.
Keep in mind that the factory didn't really tune anything either, they just quit once they got things decent.
