problem starting car
Today I just swapped out my stock intake runners, with AS&M runners, but when I put everything back together the car wont run. It will start up for a sec. then just cut off. It wont runner for much longer then a few seconds even if im giving it gas; sometimes it backfires before it shuts off. I did not mess with the timing at all, and I tried reprograming it to dump more fuel in there and still same result. Is there anyone who can help me or has experinced this?

How is it backfireing ? IN front of the motor out of the intake or out of the exhaust ?
Have you considered the possibility that you may have accidently dropped something perhaps a tool maybe into one of the intake ports ?
Did you reconnect all of the vacume lines your Maf sensor ?

thanks for the replay, no I dont believe I dropped anything into the intake, this is like the millionth time I have removed the intake. Right now I am thinking maybe it is a vacuum leak? I did a search on some of the symptoms on a vacuum leak and it seems to be similar to what I am seeing. Either way I have taken the plenum and runners back off and will reinstall them tomorrow and go from there.

After you take the parts apart check the impressions of the gaskets in an attempt to verify if the gaskets are not matching up with the flanges..
When you re torque the screws back on hand tighten them with as little force as possible before giving them a half turn they do not have to be tight to keep an air tight seal. 15 to 20 lbs of torque is hardly anything. If you are over torquing them that might be your problem if the aluminum is twisting or buckling the runners.
