hey i was just wondering, some people take out there stock intake filter setup, off their tpi's and just put on one of those conical filters right on to the throttle body. i am just wondering if u did this, where are these people putting the MAF? are they just taking it out or what? if anyones done this, some input, would be greatly appreciated!

 

The people who do this have a speed density equipped car, or if they do have a MAF, they put the filter on before it, like on a cold air set up inlet.
