Intank Fuel Pump

How hard is it to replace the intank pump compared to just running an inline booster pump? Thanks in advance for the info.

Can you just run an inline booster pump without changing out your bad pump in the tank? (assuming your intank is dead)
How would it draw fuel? through the dead pump?

No, thankfully its not dead, i need more fuel pressure and am wondering how difficult it is to change the one out in the tank

Figure a good 5 hours. Easily do-able with the right tools.

You have to drop the rear end pretty far down, and take your exhaust off (it can be done with exhaust attached, but it's very difficult to get the tank out that way)

I did a write up about it a while back... i'll try and find it.

<edit> here's a link to my write-up.. link. </edit>
