87 5.7 Tpi Ta??
I was looking at nice 87 TA. The guy told me it was a 350 car, which suprised me. I have always thought you could only get a 350 Fbody in an IROC,GTA, and Formula. I was thinking you could only get a 82-92 (except 89 TTA)TA in a 305. I looked at his vin and the 8th digit was an 8(5.7). Anyone else ever heard of this before???

Yup, it was an engine that was optional. Some say that there was some '86 T/A's that got the L98 as well. But it is the standard GTA engine I believe, and If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will come in here and flame away.

did know that about the TA, as far as the GTA I know it was available with a 350 auto or a 305 5 speed or auto
