Curious 1/4 mile times
just wondering if anyone has done a timed 1/4 mile run with and without the ac on
just wondering what the differences were on all the different setups out here

I forget what programming they put in the TPI cars as far as A/C clutch engagement at WOT. I know on my 94 (LT-1 engine) it turned off the A/C for about 10 seconds or so when you go to WOT. So for the first 10 seconds down the strip it ran about normal then the AC kicked in and pulled the MPH down. I think I went from about 13.7 @ 104 to 14.0 @ 100, if memory serves.
