fuel pump question

Ive got a new fuel pump going in on Tueday. Now I got it for free and Its brand new, but im looking at it and its a mustang pump. Holley part number 12-902 firebirds part number is 12-903. It says it will feed up to 650hp @ 45 PSI So I have 2 questions about it
1 is it going to work being a mustang pump
2 is it going to hurt my stock injectors or performance

anything else i need to know? Im not going to be the one putting it in, im having my mechanic do it along with some other stuff. What does everyone think? thanks in advance

A pump is a pump, and the engine won't know the difference. If it works voltage and flow wise, it will be ok.

as long as wiring is the same I can't say if it will work or not, but it wont hurt your injectors, and if it does go bigger.
