ques about line that goes to egr?
ok guys im putting together my 85 305 tpi motor right now and there is a line that gets screwed into the egr valve and i went to put the line in it tonight and the line broke off the fitting that gets screwed into the egr? does anyone know what it is? is it important and one more ques whats the torque on the intake runners bolts?

The "line" that screws into the base of the EGR valve is a temperature switch. Without it, you'll likely set an error code after some driving.
