Burnig out Throtle position sensors 3 so far

Help is getting expensive, replaced my 3rd throtle position sensor. Any one know what would be causing this. When new TPS is installed runs for about 1/2 hour then burns out. Have a Sun tester for checking the tps and no reading. When first installed reads fine.

Please help 305 TPI 86 Camero MAF sensor. By the way have replaced all sensors except the ECM.

HELP

Bad engine ground or shorting plug wires. Both of those will fry a TPS in no time. Of particular note is the 2 plug wires that run under the driver exhaust manifold, they like to contact and burn on the crossover pipe.

Thats besides the obvious, check the TPS wires.

HELP!
Check the TPS ground circuit with a test light by probing the black tps wire and the other end of the test light to the positive battery terminal. If the light comes on it's a good ground circuit. If you have a scanner and unplug the tps, your scanner will show the tps voltage as being under .2v. if it does then the wiring is not the problem.
