Ok so im finally ditching that piece of **** hypertech chip and getting the factory prom back (with a couple of modifications...like set for 30 lb injectors...deleted egr etc).

Where is the prom located?..whats involved in removing it?

It's in the ECM. ECM is a silver box little bigger than a paperback book up under the dash. It's is accessed by removing the plastic kick panel under the dash on the pass. side and looking up. It'll have 2 big quick-connect multi-wire connectors plugged into the end of it.

Remove the ECM, then remove the little metal access plate on the ECM that's held in place with 2 screws. Under that is a big chip with a plastic holder/protector around it. That's the program chip. Wiggle it out carefully. Reinstall with the new chip is the reverse. The plastic holder is keyed so you can't install it the wrong way around (unless you try really really hard!)
