Need Help

okay since my 'Will Pay For Tune!' thread keeps getting deleted, I guess I'l have to do something else. What do you guys recommend I do as far as a tune here? PCMforless burnt me 2 chips, niether of them worked good. The first one was terrible, wouldn't let the car run under 2 grand, and was really rich. The other one was still rich, and still pretty far outta tune. I live so secluded from any place with a dyno, because I feel thats the only way to get it running 100% to its capabilty. So what are my options? i heard of some companies mailing you a computer, than you run like 5 or more home dyno runs, then they keep burning chips accordingly. Does anybody know a company like this?

Please don't delete this, I don't see it breaking any rules...I need help bad here!

a.) Keep going in circles hoping someday it will just run right.
b.) use the money you would have spent on ordering chips that are not performing as you need them too and use it to buy :
1.) adapter about $35
2.) Blank chips about $10
3.) Burner or emulator (many options, flash & Burn $85)
4.) a cheapo laptop (can get as low as $50, run Win 98)
5.) an ALDL cable (or just make one for $10)

Total investment to get moving :
about $250 including odds and ends

Download some free logging software and or TunerPro to do both and start down the path of happiness

DIY= DO IT YOURSELF
DO IT YOURSELF isn't I'll pay for tuning, it's about doing your own chip burning.

Your own experiences should be telling you something. Doing chips by mail, isn't very effective. So either you can continue to toss money at those that are willing to accept your donations, try to learn to do them yourself, or just leave the car alone.

Maybe you don't see where you're breaking any rules, but this board is about DOING IT YOURSELF. Who knows maybe someone that's interested in seperating you from your money will read your post, will write you and help you get rid of more of it like you've already experienced.
