couple quick ?s
ok,
1 do you know how to adjust the TV cable? my car downshifts as i come to a stop and you can feel it and see the tach go up 200-400 rpm. a guy said it could be that, but he didnt want to mess with it because he didnt know what to do. he also said he has gone through a few trannys because of it.
2 my throttle body wont close all the way, how can i fix that? its open enough to make me idle at 1000rpm in gear and like 1500 rpm in neutral . its open enough that if i just left off the brake i can get it to shift into 2nd gear...
i think thats it for now, but it feels like im leaving something out...thanks in advance

My car shifts like that to. I have a shift kit but I think that it's normal to keep the engine from bogging down.
Check to see if there is any room for adjustment in the idle set screw on the side of the throttle body.

Re: TV cable, there's a how to, on the main page in the Tech area.
Re: High idle, could be IAC issue, when you go to the mainpage, looks for "minimum air" adjustment, and see where that gets you.
