need tpi wiring harness help...

I am upgrading my 85 computer to a 86. I have a 88 wiring harness. It seems that there are quite a few different connectors on it. I also noticed that it does not have the other two connections that come out of the bulkhead (one has 3 pins one has 6 on the old harness). Can I just ignore those. Should I just get an 86 harness. I thought the two harnesses would be more the same than they are. help please.

Buying one of those harnesses would be a very bad idea for several reasons:

1) He is having a problem hooking up items that aren't even part of the Painless wiring harnesses that they sell. He needs to use a factory harness, not one for a retrofit.

2) Even if you decided to buy a TPI harness, you can buy the same harness from Summit for $80 less.

3) Its Fbodymotorsports. Do a search on all the horrendous things they have done to people, and you'll see why they got booted off from sponsoring this site.
