suspected i had a bad injector tested resistance of injector and got 5.7 ohms, tested the rest of them and got 5.7 all the way around, is this right? haynes book says 11 to 14 ohms

 

On mine I had one injector test at 4.5 ohms, one about 17 ohms, one about 13 ohms and the rest were around 15 ohms.

I think the nominal resistance of them is supposed to be around 15 ohms.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but you do you have them all unplugged when testing, yes?

Was a late night... On second thought, I guess you really don't need to unhook them all since you are testing the one that is unhooked, the others will have no effect on the one being tested.

5.7 ohms sounds low, but maybe they are different on the earlier cars.

yeah i thought of that after i unhooked them all and tested them again, 5.6 on one side 5.7 on the other

 

They fail at 12 ohms or less. Time to go shopping.
