ive been hearing a ticking noise from my engine and thought maybe it was the header gaskets...i pop the hood and its not the headers. The ticking is comming from the right side of the TPI unit...i know its an injector(s) ticking because it goes away when i raise the RPMs...so does this mean they are clogged, dirty, or have a mechanical problem?

It's normal for the most part. Use a screw driver to listen and make sure it's really coming from the injectors just as a safe precaution.
