Took the TA to the track tonite
I just got my new 1991 T/A Vert with 350 TPI on wednesday. Took it to the track today. I wasent too pleased, my best was 15.2 @89. I hooked up good. Its bone stock except for SLP Y pipe with random tech. cats, SLP headers, Hooker aero chamber cb 3" all the way. I could feel the TPI running out of breath at around 4k. Any ideas? The 350 is out of an 89.

Car: 1987 IROC-Z Camaro

Axle/Gears: BW 9 bolt, 3.27s
those times are about right for a stock L98, maybe a tad slow. But If im not mistaken, a vert wieghs more than a ttop car, so that could affect it also. If you car is running out of breath, port you plenum and base, and get some SLP runners, that would help the topend a bunch mixed with those headers. What gears are you running? I would suggest 3.27s or 3.23 (whether its a 9 bolt or 10) for optimal launch, cruise ect. Also do a good tune. Hope this helps.

Rearend is stock, so whatever gears are in a 91 305. As for weight, it weighs 3900 with me in it (yes, I could cut off a good 2-3 seconds if I was 150 lbs). Ive been getting in contact with a guy from NJFBOA about tuning.
