87 z28
I have got the built 350 motor in and hooked up.
All vacume lines are plugged, fule pressure rail at 45 psi.
turn key, it will go brooooooom then dies. If I leave the key in the start position I can keep it running for about a minute then dies.
either way If I touch the gass it won't start or dies righ way.
oh, what does the vacume line do that is on the fuel pressure regulator?? can I leave it off???
(its a holley)
was a 305 car .
big cam in it but it does sound nice when it runs.

car running
No response at all, wow.
You guys must be to busy to respond. what a bummer
Got it running, it was a fuse in the fuse box. (two days)
Sounds like it will be very fast, super quick revs, with extremely fast throttle response we can here the lt4 hot cam, with the ported heads, wow.. feels like its got some *****.
Will have to time it as play with it a little, but its nice to hear it run.
thanks

New engine
Drove the car last night.
WOW, incredible.
Doesn't want to idle, but man there is some serious horse power there.
Revs to 7,000 rpm pegs the rpm gage instantly. Better put a rev-limiter on it.
kid drove it also.
It will roast the tires on demand. Feels like the car is coming of the ground.
when he got out of the car he had a huge smile on his face.
$800 for the car, $3,000 in the motor, his smile, priceless.
Now to do some tuning and get a custom chip.
Thanks
for all the help.
