New to Tpi
hey guys im from the tbi board...but last night i got ahold of a 350 tpi.....its gonna be a work in progress...it didnt come with the wiring harness or ecm...but im gonna get a painless...i know what i need for the most part.......but i think my tpi unit is missing somethin......on the passenger side of the tpi at the very back past the last runner...it has 2 threaded holes for fittings or something there....can someone tell me what goes there

Pictures would greatly help. If it's the coil bracket like stated it above, it will have 2 holes about and inch and half apart.

it must be that then....u guys are a big help....ill get pics up....cuz its pretty much bare....soo ill do updates and probly need some help thru the process of turnin my 305 tbi rs into a 350 tpi car....also...it did not come with a throttle body....junkyard wants 200 for one...should i get that or pay the extra 100 for the bbk....ya i know u say its a waste of money to upgrade but i dont have a tb at all...soo is the extra 100 worth it?

also... the guy that sold me the motor told me the base was extrude honed and i didnt need to get an aftermarket...just get some runners....i can i tell if it actually is extrude honed

Just my opinion, but stay away from the painless harness, thier harness only deals with engine wiring and has no provision for the accsessories. I'm not saying it is a bad product, it's just more meant for a retrofit job.
Your best bet would be to find a donor car that you can strip for the parts, probably be cheaper in the long run.
