91 TA (Stock) TPI 305. I am completely lost!!!! Car was on jackstands for 2 months and it ran fine before this. Started car and it idled ok. When I pressed on the accelerator the engine died. I depressed shrader valve on fuel rail on no pressure. I replace fuel pump and filter...... still nothing.

Is ther something I did during the painting process to cause this??

can you hear the fuuel pump coming back on when you put the key in the ignition?

 

The fuel pump is not running when the key is turned on.

Check the fuse in the fuse holder up by the passanger side fender area. See if it blew.

 

also check your relays and wiring...

 

Did you change the original color? If so, you need to reprogram the prom.
