My Carter Fuel Pump Died Early

My first fuel pump that came with the car went at 101,000km. I had my GM dealership install a new one, which lasted about 80,000km. Then I had a local mechanic install a Carter pump (pt # P74006), which only last 25,000km. Maybe the cam and headers using more fuel burnt this pump out early but I was not impressed. I understand Carter makes a high performance version for our cars pt # P74209. However, I decided to give BBK’s fuel pump (pt # 1630) a try this time, which I understand is a Walbro pump. Hope I get better results from this pump.

Use a GM pump. Better quality than the aftermarket junk.
