What do about my distributor?

I'm swapping an 87 355 into my 86 with a 305. The only think that's keeping it from running is the distributor. 86 had the cap mounted coil, 87 had the remote mount coil. I have my 86 distributor but its too large to fit with the stealth ram intake. The 87 dizzy's contacts look a bit rusty and I don't have a coil, mounting bracket, or wire for it. So thats my problem, basically:
1. Can I get a new coil, mounting bracket, etc, new or is it junkyard only. Any clear pics of where it even goes?

2. Will the 86 wiring harness plug into an 87 dizzy or is all entirely different?

I already posted so now I know the actual differences, but I still don't know enough to get my car running.

The plugs are different. You need the later-model pigtails. The one from the dist. to the coil and the one from the timing control module to the dist. As for the mounts, pretty simple. Just hit the junkyard, or build a plate that bolts to the coil and to the intake or wherever you feel like. You can pick up the MSD factory replacement coil for the late-model GM ignition at most Autozones.
