fuel rails and hard lines
fuel rails and hard lines
i have my tpi pretty much complete now, but ive hit a snag with my fuel lines. comaro/firebird lines go to driver-side, corvette line to the passenger-side, which is how i want the to run. i cant find the corvette line and now have a really nice set of c/f rails that i dont want to toss.
i have heard of reversing the lines so they feed and return from the rear of the intake, this would be sweet.
1 how do i remove the hard line and #9 injector supply fittings from the rail.
2 can i just tap the ends for npt to -fittings and use soft line to return and into the afpr.
3 if i found some corvette lines can i put them on the other rails

As far as the rear exit/enter, all you'd need to do is tap the fuel rail, and make sure it won't leak under pressure. It looks like the stock lines are pressed and soldered into the fuel rails. I know places like Street & Performance can do it easily for you, if you don't have access to the tools needed.
