Need Help choosing intake......
Does anybody here have a FIRST intake manifold? It looks like it might be an option for me after I build my 355 this winter.
I plan on using vortech heads and some sort of TPIS cam on my engine with atleast 9.5 to 1 comp...I still havent worked out some details yet
and yes I did a search and found crap...I had a rough day at college today so I didnt look too closely
I would also consider any other manifold really as long as I keep it under $650 i might go more if i have to.

It sounds like maybe you're planning to build a sleeper?
FIRST might be hard to find. I think you'd have an easier time finding some other large tube runners like AS&M, and a used Accel or bigmouth base.
The Holley Stealth Ram is cheap but there goes the sleeper look.
I think most of the other intakes out there will blow your budget.

The large tube runners and bigger base plus vortec heads should be a good combo for you. The LPE 216 cam should be a great match for that as well.

if you plan on using the vortec heads you should look into the ram jet
