MAF sensors... Are the interchangable?

Car: 02 Z28, 78 Z28, 86 Iroc
Engine: 346 LS1, 350 Goodwrench, Vette 350
Transmission: M6, T 10, 700 R4
MAF sensors... Are the interchangable?
In my 86 Iroc I have a 87 vette motor and It does run with the 86 camaro MAF sensor. I am not using the vette MAF and I was wondering if they were interchangable for the car to run right. Can I use the camaro MAF or do I need to get a vette one?
Also the origional motor in the roc was a 5.0
