TPI very high idle -- HELP

TPI very high idle -- HELP
i have a 1989 formula 350 tpi
upon startup car idles fine. after a few minutes it idles higher and higher until it reaches 1500 to 1800 rpm in partk.
I can be driving normally and all of a sudden my idle kicks up and keeps going up higher and higher , an nothing will make it come down except the a/c will kick it down somewhat.
wtf, I changed and adjusted tps sensor to 5.4 and I alcso changed the IAC valve to no avail.
My son has a camaro and I've swapped out oxygen sensor and thermo sensors from his car but still the same problem.
I need advice please.
