help with engine and transmission

ok i have a 350 bored 30 over with 10.5-1 forged je pistons lt4 hotcam and slightl ported heads. i recently ble wteh transmission up or messed teh shell up so i was wondering what converter should i go with due to the fact that i have a stock one and also what gears cus i have stock 3.23 . because my car is gonna be down for a while like 2 months till i get the money to do it cus im gonna do 4th gen interior swap seats wise and also 1.6 rockers to

2,200-2,400 stall RPM is VERY streetable with a stock TPI. That's right in the range of the factory L35 converter, which can be had for under $200 with a warranty. If you don't have a budget constraint, look at an Edge converter or Vigilante, or search the board for ideas. Many members have had differeing level of success with various brands and types of converters. Just remember that a TPI is not designed a a high-RPM engine. It CAN be, but isn't designed for that kind of duty.

agreed on the convertor. The "L35" seems to work good(L35 = v6 blazer/vette converter, right?) also look into a trans like the "Raptor". Why do a stock rebuild when it'll still only be marginal at best, and you may keep adding power...
