Engine: SPDC 360 MAF EFI /w a Holley Stealth Ram
Transmission: T5 untill it blows up from to much torque
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" /w auburn pro & 3.89's
Quick Question!
Is the intake ducting for camaros (TPI) the same for all years from 85-92?? Such as MAF or MAP? I'm going to the J/Y right now to fin ish my swap.
I need the upper and lower peices and the squishy piece from the maf sensor to throttle body.

in a word, no. MAF and MAP cars are deffinitely different. - otherwise, I think most camaros where the same. straight forward over the core support to the y.

Transmission: Th350 red neck Performance 3k stall
Axle/Gears: 95 Mustang 8.8 built with 3.73s
I used the slinky thing from a 350 TPI Firebird and the filter cover from a V6 Camaro, it all worked out fine. My car's a MAF car and the Firebird was mAF as well. You should be able to get most of them to work out. Another benefit was that my V6 cover has the mounting for the AIT sensor in it!

I've actually read it depends on what fuel pressure you're running. With stock fuel pressure it's better to have it in the box, with raised fuel pressure it's the same if it's in the plenum itself. I would put it in the air box, just make sure to seal the hole it leaves in your plenum.
