What's this plug?
I finished doing my heads on my 87 L98 Camaro. Ofcourse the car won't start. I was making sure that everything is pluged in. I noteced this little guy on the drivers side between the valve cover and firewall. I don't remeber disconcting it. But I'm just curious if this could be my problem. I also don't see anthing in that area that it can go to. Also the car is all stock with emmisons still on it. Thanks in advance! Adam :-)

One of the leads looks pink or partly pink, which is likely switched power for the ignition (coil, module etc...). Check 'round the distributor and related goodies.

Just a wild guess here. It's kinda lard to focus on what shape the plug is,it's not one of the plugs that goes to the back of the distributor is it?

It's pink/black line and the other wire is ether black or brown. It's a two circle plug. I have the two wire's allready plugged into the dizzy. Unless I didn't plug the right one in. But the plugs can only plug into the right thingy, right? Thanks again for the help guys. Adam :-)

Well the car start's now. The dizzy was off. So that plug dosen't have anything to do with it starting. But I would still like to know what it gose to. If a mod dosen't mind. Mabye this can be moved over to the elctronics forum. They might know since this an't a tpi problem anymore. Thanks. Adam :-)

As I responded to the other plug/connector question,
I have an unused pink/black two prong connector behind the dvr side cyl head. I bought the car new, am the other owner, dont know what it is supposed to be.

That connector attaches to another which plugs into the IAT under the plenum.
