more questions

anybody know where I can get a tweaked chip for my 110 lobe sep. cam that I am using in my MAF asperated setup?

Can a larger "increased flow rate" maf sensor be purchased for my 86-87 TPI unit?

Can I do this?:
Run a by-pass tube past my MAF that will have a butterfly valve operated by a solenoid whose relay will operate off of a vacuum switch. The TPI air flow would flow through the MAF totally until The vacuum switch opens the butterfly and then both paths flow air into the plenum. I am putting TPI in my 84 T/A and on my old carb set up it had a vacuum operated cold air intake on the hood. I was going to use that hardware to make the by-pass tube actuator if the idea will help my flow restriction issues.

please advise

thx

jeff

hit up Midamerica, even thought they are vettes there MAF will wrok with what you need.

IMO i'd custom program, spend your money that way. you can even remove the screens then reprogram your chip to it You gotta a cam i'm sure she's still not gonna run right with out a good burn or not to par.

a buddy of mine(Dans87GTA) is running 220/230 @ .050 497/502 on a 110. He's still runing the stock 87 L98 MAF tune, even now with his HSR. Not ideal I know, but mid 13's....yes, you should get it tuned, but not mail-order. Either do some research and get the tools to DIY, or pay the $ to have it dyno tuned...
